A sun-blessed oasis of calm, with the new RUB TAN fall-protection surface
What is today the Parco del Tassino was once the hunting grounds of the wealthy Enderlin family who, back in the 19th century, owned a wonderful villa on the hill of Tassino. This park, located close to the main station in Lugano, spans an area of 21,000 square metres and stands out due to its broad paths that wind their way up a slope to a hill from which you can see the striking, pink-hued “Enderlin tower”. The panoramic terrace at the foot of the tower, surrounded by trees that date back centuries, provides an unparalleled vantage point to enjoy a view of Monte Brè and the section of the lake that reaches as far as Porlezza and onto Monte Sighignola above Campione d’Italia, and finally Monte San Salvatore on the right.
Located beneath the tower is a thoroughly refurbished play area featuring our RUB TAN fall-protection surface. Despite the difficult installation with small machines and a great deal of manual work, the work carried out by WALO Ticino can be deemed a great success.
