Almost falling apart at the seams, WALO’s headquarters in Zurich has seen better days and is therefore in need of a fundamental refurbishment. After a full examination of the property, it emerged that the building legislation governing the plot of land in Limmatstraße ruled out any expansion of the office space. Renovating the building would not make economic sense either. Furthermore, it became evident that our employees at WALO’s headquarters needed a new environment with modern infrastructure to make their most of their potential at the company. The process of moving our offices to Dietikon began back in July 2013.
Various development scenarios are being drawn up, aimed at optimising and maximising the value of the property for the Limmatstraße project. As soon as the best solution has been found, the team will turn its attention to the construction process, including planning, execution and marketing. In the meantime, the building is being sublet.
