The building that houses the FIFA Museum is located opposite Enge railway station in the centre of Zurich. The building comprises an overall exhibition area of 3,000 m2 spread across three floors, offering a unique insight into the history of football.
Construction process
WALO started the flooring work in the FIFA Museum just before the summer holidays in 2015. Facing significant logistical challenges and a tight deadline, WALO installed the RUB TAN outdoor sports surface as an indoor flooring solution in a process consisting of several stages. The RUB TAN system is renowned for its functional and aesthetic qualities. It was an interesting job, even for the experienced staff at WALO.
Comment
The end result speaks for itself. WALO was highly praised for the precision and quality of its work, including the final acceptance process. The museum was opened at a ceremony on 28 February 2016. A visit is highly recommended!
